My vote is the for the blue.jpg but would it be possible to have the colours a little bit brighter please when it is used as a logo.

Thanks for your efforts on this.

Not sure if this will work (inserting a picture) but I think these are the colours you need Chris for the blue.jpg. I can match any colour and give it a rgb value so that it can be reproduced.

on this screen/to my eyes that 'orange' one isn't anything like orange enough, it's too peach/pink. blue and orange are colour opposites and as such compliment each other well. (complement? i always get that wrong) I'd suggest ( if others agree) making that one more orangey

Blue and Orange are indeed complementary colours:

Tried again with a different orange. AS you can see, possibly, I am using old fashioned methods of cut up bits of paper to make this. I have spent many hours trying with the two basic diagramming programmes I have, and have not achieved anything with technology. Would love to be able to, but cannot justify the cost of a good package. So once I have chosen my bits of coloured paper, scanned it all in, the complete thing becomes a jpg and I can't modify it.
Teiana, I have changed the orange, a really bright orange, but it still seems to be coming out rather pinky when I scan it.
I don't think I can justify spending anymore time on it, so I am afraid the attached must be my last offering. :)

i didn't even edit the colour to do this i just put it in a photo editing program and hit 'auto colour balance correct' and something else similarly, i forget what now.

anyway, not sure the backgrounds gone a bit dark but the orange looks better.

Thanks Chris!
It was a long and stony path I know but I think it was worth the effort.
I am out tonight but tomorrow I hope to have the logo on line (assuming you will let us use it :-) )
Have fun!

Want a £m for the copyright  I wish. Yes of course you can use it, it's a privilege to this that I have made an impact in graphic design, 8-) even if it is only on something as 'insignificant' (only in the great big system of things) as The Systems Place.
