It's been a while since I did T214 but "The virtual revolution' viewed tonight on BBC2 brought loads of the initial web based stuff flooding back, even the odd systems terminology thrown in.
This was, in my view, a thought provoking program that (if time permits) gives a decent overview of some of block one.

Whilst I appreciate the hugh benefits of the internet, for me this program raised serious concerns about the ability of a smallish minority to cause major disruption to ordinary life as we know it, by creating an almost anti authority feeling, that becomes self re-enforcing, without having an idea about where such disruption may lead.
I do think that in a democracy like Britain every one has a right to have their view and be heard, BUT we should all abide by the law of the land and do what is best for the majority. (accepting that what is law says is always the best, but work to get it changed lawfully).
